      Playeasy Product Updates: Q1 2025

      This article explores Playeasy's exciting product updates launching on January 1, 2025. Built from your feedback and seamlessly integrated into our technology, this release highlights new feature enhancements, new state hubs, and resolved bugs.

      Feature Enhancements for Lead Management

      This update simplifies the Lead Management process, offering greater flexibility for Destinations.

      Streamlined Lead Workflow:
      • Leads can now be marked as 'Interested' without requiring a message to the Event Organizer.
      • Leads sync directly with the Simpleview Connector without initial communication.
      • Communication with Event Organizers remains optional and can be initiated anytime via the Leads Dashboard.

      Feature Enhancements for Hotel Specials

      These updates provide destinations with better tools to highlight and customize hotel listings.

      Preferred Hotels Tag

      • Destinations can mark hotels as 'Preferred', automatically sorting them to the top of the list based on proximity and preference.

      Flexible Rate Display Options

      • The new "RateType" field allows for dynamic Hotel Special display options:
        • Nightly: Adds a "per night" suffix.
        • Starts At: Uses a "starts at" prefix with "per night".
        • Call: Hides rates and prompts users to "Call to Book" with the hotel's contact information.
        • When no rates are available, fallback messaging displays "Contact for Details" with an optional link to more information.

      Easy Event Location Identification

      • Hotels within 0.01 miles of an event location now clearly state "Location of the event" in their description.

      Feature Enhancements for Business and Hotel Profiles

      This enhancement ensures businesses and hotels can keep their profiles fresh and engaging.

      Smarter AI-Generated Descriptions:

      • AI-generated descriptions on Business and Hotel profiles now offer clearer, keyword-optimized messaging to improve visibility and relevance.
        • New Ability: Descriptions can now be regenerated directly from the profile admin page.

      Playeasy Intelligence - Destination Tour Guide

      This feature empowers Destinations to deliver real-time, data-driven responses while retaining full control over their narrative.

      The "Destination Tour Guide" introduces a powerful AI-driven chat experience, allowing visitors to explore Destinations and engage with local offerings interactively. Designed for event attendees and general tourists, it provides Destinations with a frictionless way to share information.

      Destination Tour Guide Key Features:

      • Availability: Accessible via the Destination's AI Center, public profile, and Event Microsites. Integrated with Playeasy Elements as a standalone chatbot or within the Event Marketplace Element.
      • Effortless Setup: Minimal configuration required, with Playeasy optimizing AI capabilities based on Destination data (Events, Facilities, Businesses, and Hotels). Future updates will include external data integration.
      • Seamless Visitor Interaction: Initially chat-based, with voice functionality planned for future releases. Visitors remain anonymous for privacy.
      • Actionable Insights: All conversations are summarized, and Playeasy delivers insights to help Destinations refine their engagement strategies.

      Playeasy Intelligence - RFP Assistant

      This tool enhances efficiency for Event Organizers while helping Destinations maximize opportunities.

      The RFP Assistant simplifies the process for Event Organizers to find and select locations for their events. It automates initial steps, creating a faster, more streamlined workflow.

      RFP Assistant Key Features:

      • Automated Workflow: Guides organizers step-by-step through the RFP creation process with minimal effort.
      • Accessible Everywhere: Integrated into Destination and Facility marketplaces, as well as users' home dashboards.
      • Smart Recommendations: Utilizes Playeasy’s match-making algorithm to suggest the most relevant destinations and facilities.
      • Profile Boosting: Destinations with boosted profiles rank higher in the assistant's recommended results, increasing visibility.

      New State Hubs


      Two new state hubs have been added to Playeasy:
      1. Delaware
      2. Louisiana

      Bug Fixes

      • Partner Management: Fixed issues preventing updates to "Is Partner Managed" status for Hotels and Businesses.
      • Business Profiles: Resolved hidden inactive promotional campaigns.
      • Event Posts: Ensured posts display correctly for tagged events.
      • SKYNAV Tab: Addressed missing tabs for configured Facilities.
      • Destination Mapping: Fixed incorrect Destinations appearing on Facility Cards in the marketplace.
