Syncing connects your existing website or CMS directly to your Playeasy destination profile. Your businesses, events, and blog content flow in automatically, so the work your team already does to keep your site current now reaches event planners, teams, and traveling families wherever they're looking. This article walks through how your synced content gets discovered and what it means for your destination.

1. Within Playeasy

Your trusted destination content now powers the visitor experience within Playeasy.

Going forward, when a Playeasy event is happening in your destination, visitors can discover your curated restaurants, attractions, things to do, local events and content as part of their event experience. Instead of relying on generic recommendations, they’re being connected directly to the places and experiences your DMO wants visitors to discover.

Your CMS remains your single source of truth, and Playeasy automatically picks up that content each day - so there’s no need to manage the same information in two places.

With CMS Syncing, three types of content can flow from your website into Playeasy:

• Local Business listings (restaurants, attractions, shops, things to do)
• Events (festivals, concerts, community happenings)
• Blogs (itineraries, guides, "best of" lists, local stories)

Once synced, that content powers your Attraction Marketplace on your Destination profile, appears alongside your Facility profiles, and is surfaced within Event microsites for tournaments happening in your destination.

That means when a team manager, athlete or visitor is planning their tournament weekend, the local recommendations they discover are coming directly from the destination experts who know the community best - you.

Playeasy content is now being indexed by AI assistants like ChatGPT, so your synced businesses, events, and blogs can be referenced directly when travelers ask AI about your destination.

3. Within Event Organizer Experiences

Event Experiences is now live in its initial rollout: event organizers can activate a Compass AI tour guide for their event in any destination on Playeasy. If you've synced your content, that tour guide surfaces it automatically, with no work on your end.

When an organizer sets up an event experience, attendees get a Compass tour guide on the event microsite that knows both the event details and your destination. Athletes, parents, and fans can ask where to eat after the championship game or what's open late near the hotel.

If your destination has opted in and provided your CMS content to Playeasy, Compass answers using your synced businesses, events, and blogs, and links send visitors back to your website. If you haven't synced, the experience uses your standard Playeasy profile content.
