What are Local Businesses on Playeasy?

• Similar to Tripadvisor pages, Playeasy Local Business profiles highlight local attractions, things to do, restaurants, hotels & more to the sports community. Local Business profiles are connected to Destination/Facility profiles & sync to any Playeasy Event pages associated with these hosts. We classify a Local Business as an establishment in a community that provides value to a participant/team.
  • Examples include:

• • • Hotel & Lodging (ex: Hilton, Marriott, any local lodging space)
    • Food & Drink (ex: bars, restaurants)
    • Entertainment (ex: TopGolf, Movie Theaters, Dave & Busters, Bowling Alleys, etc.)
    • Shopping
    • Transport (ex: airports, car rentals, bus services, local transit options)
    • Services (ex: trophies, referees, athletic trainers)

What are promotions on Playeasy?

Promotions are an incentive to visit a local business and can be activated on individual Playeasy Marketed Events. 

Once activated, they will be displayed to all visitors of an event page in the 'Local Promotions' tab. Additionally, businesses that activate promotions on an event will be listed first in the 'Places to Eat, Shop & Play' tab.

How do Local Businesses appear on Event pages?

As long as your Local Businesses are marketed on your Destination/Facility profile, they will appear on the 'Places to Eat, Shop, & Play' tab for any event that you Market. Additionally, Local Businesses added to Playeasy by Destinations or Facilities that are within 25 miles of an Event will automatically appear on the Event page.

How do promotions appear on my Event pages?

Gold Destinations and Facilities can add 2 types of Local Business Promotions to Playeasy:

1. General Promotions:

• General Promotions are discounts added to Local Business profiles on Playeasy by the host Destination/Facility that are available to any sports group visiting this business.
• General Promotions automatically appear on any Playeasy Marketed Event page within 25 miles of this establishment.

2. Event-specific Promotions

• Event-specific Promotions are discounts added to Local Business profiles on Playeasy by the partner Destination/Facility that are available only for a specific event.
• Event-specific Promotions appear on your marketed event page once you add this specific promotion to the Local Business profile.

Either way, Promotions appear on your Event pages once loaded by you on the Local Business profile on Playeasy.
